But, just in case you haven't, you are correct. There was a Camp Rondack for Girls on Schroon Lake, in Upstate NY. I spent five wonderful summers there between 1967 and 1971. There was another camp adjacent to this camp, called Camp Ronwood for Boys. I don't know when the camp opened, but it closed in 1972 when it was purchased by a Christian camp, possibly called "Word of Life".
