Camp Aquehonga has a single issue in 2011, a 3 inch round with a gold mylar border. In addition to the A logo, the patch pictures a old-style scout and Indian Chief.

Camp Aquehonga 2010 Where I Want To Be

Camp Aquehonga celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America in their hexagonal shaped patch issued for the 2010 season. It is a Tan twill patch with a Dark Green border. The one in my collection is TLS (twill left smooth).

Jeff Rocklein sent me a scan of an undated Camp Aquehonga patch shown below. He wanted to know when it was issued.

Camp Aquehonga 2006 Varieties

I always thought that there was a single patch issued by camp Aquehonga in 2006. Jeff Rocklein proved me wrong when he sent scans of three separate issues to me earlier this year.

We met up at TMR on Alumni Day and I saw the patches in question.

The first was a dated version which was the one I had in my collection.

Then there was an undated version.

Camp Aquehonga 2006 Undated issue R2 - Gray cloud/horizon

Anthony Allison the Camp director confirmed that the dated version ran out early in the season and the patch was reordered without a date.

There was also a second undated version however, this one with a black cloud/horizon.

Both of the undated versions are needs of mine.

Anyone else know of other unlisted TMR patch varieties?

Camp Aquehonga 2008

This past weekend was the 2008 Alumni Day at Ten Mile River, and I was able to pick up some of the new 2008 Camp Patches. The first one is from the ‘new’ Camp Aquehonga which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year. There was also a rocker produced for the staff. So far at least it is the only staff issue this year.

TMR 80th Anniversary CSP set – Camp Aquehonga

As part of its 80th Anniversary celebration, TMR has issued two sets of 7 CSP’s. The first version is numbered, the second set is un-numbered. The numbered CSP’s share the same design as the un-numbered, but have a number ghosted in the design. To the best of my knowledge, no “sets” of the same numbers were sold.

The first design is for Camp Aquehonga. It features the Indian Cliffs “chief” alongside the waterslide.

The numbered version is designated the AQU2007X1, the un-numbered the AQU2007X2

Camp Aquehonga has a new patch for the 2007 camp season. It basically rectangular in shape, with a red cute edge, gray background and dark gray/outlined black Camp Aquehonga, 2007, Going above and Beyond. GNYC, TMR and a FDL is ghosted in the gary background.
