{"id":1035,"date":"2013-08-11T10:15:02","date_gmt":"2013-08-11T15:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/?p=1035"},"modified":"2018-08-18T15:15:30","modified_gmt":"2018-08-18T20:15:30","slug":"woodworth-lake-facility-will-be-sold-to-private-owner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/2013\/08\/11\/woodworth-lake-facility-will-be-sold-to-private-owner\/","title":{"rendered":"Woodworth Lake facility will be sold to private owner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A comment was left on a post I had written about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/29\/1955-woodworth-lake-scout-reservation\/comment-page-1\/#comment-70449\">1955 Woodworth Lake Patch<\/a>, that the camp had been sold.<\/p>\n<p>There was an article in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leaderherald.com\/page\/content.detail\/id\/557593\/Scouts-part-with-local-camp.html?nav=5011\">Leader Herald<\/a> which confirmed this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Woodworth Lake Scout Reservation, a woodsy retreat where local Boy Scouts have camped for decades, has hosted its final Scout function.<\/p>\n<p>The reservation will be sold, a Scout official said.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Stockton, Scout executive of the Boy Scouts&#8217; Twin Rivers Council, said the 1,200-acre camp has been purchased by a private individual.
