{"id":1825,"date":"2019-05-20T16:00:43","date_gmt":"2019-05-20T21:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/?p=1825"},"modified":"2019-05-04T16:15:22","modified_gmt":"2019-05-04T21:15:22","slug":"blue-acorn-whatsit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/2019\/05\/20\/blue-acorn-whatsit\/","title":{"rendered":"Blue Acorn Whatsit?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been trying to get more information on the felt acorn shaped patch shown below.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1826\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1826\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Blue-Felt-Acorn-e1557003785215.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Blue-Felt-Acorn-e1557003785215.jpg\" alt=\"Blue Acorn Whatsit?\" width=\"450\" height=\"562\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1826\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1826\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Blue Acorn Whatsit?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While researching in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmrmuseum.org\/museum-archives\">Ten Mile River Scout Camps Archives<\/a>, I came across the following in an old Camp Guide from 1927 for Kanohwahke Lakes Scout Camps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KL-Guide-1927-Museum-e1557003994555.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KL-Guide-1927-Museum-e1557003994555.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"542\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1827\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KL-Guide-1927-Museum-2-e1557004045315.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tenmilerivertrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/KL-Guide-1927-Museum-2-e1557004045315.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"527\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1828\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see on the second page the line drawing appears to match the felt acorn above.
