Camp Seneca was part of the Sullivan Trail Council. In 1990 Sullivan Trail Council merged with Steuben Area Council to form Five Rivers Council. This patch is silk-screened on a canvas like material.

Hi: Camp Seneca, Sullivan Trail Council, was opened in 1923 and closed in 1990 and sold. The patches were changed on a yearly basis until the mid 1980′ when a patch might have been issued for 2 years. The patch you have was most likely issued for one year in the 1970’s . Information on Camp Seneca and their patches is very difficult to obtain due to the sale of the camp and the merger of the councils occurring at nearly the same time. I have an as complete a collection of Camp Seneca patches but am unable to verify exact dates as to when a specific patch was officially available. I hope this is helpful.
