Collecting Ten Mile River, one patch at a time
The second of three patches issued by the TMR Scout Camp Museum was one made for those who paid there dues and became members of the TMR Museum. The design is the same as the historian patch, but with a Gold Mylar border and T.M.R. Museum Member in White.
As in previous years, there was a dated patch that Scouts received fro free for attending the TMR Museum and going through the program as presented by the Curators. The Museum continues to use the iconic Indian Cliffs design.
A third issue from 2010 for Ten Mile River Scout Camps which also celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America was an earned patch issued for the Shooting Sports Program. For the first time in several years, TMR issued a staff patch for the 2010 summer camp season. The design was the same as the general camp patch, with a Gold Mylar “Staff” added to the design.
In 2010 the BSA celebrated its 100th Anniversary. Ten Mile River Scout Camps recognized this in its pocket patch issued for the 2010 season. The border, FDL and 2010 Logo were done in gold Mylar and the scene is the standard Indian Cliffs design done in a 3′ round.
The 2009 TMR Alumni Day will take place on Saturday July 11, 2009. This is an annual event held at the Headquarters Camp beginning around 11:00 AM. The TMR Museum will be open throughout the day. While this patch does not contain the words Ten Mile River Scout Camps or TMR it was sold in the camp trading posts in 1984. So call it a TMR Patch or a Council Patch, but that is where it was offered for sale. Thanks to Douglas Chin for the photo.

Here is one of the more modern patches with an Indian Cliffs design. A shield-shaped pocket patch issued in 2005 with a pocket loop.
