Collecting Ten Mile River, one patch at a time
One subset of Ten Mile River Scout Camp collecting is patches not issued by Greater New York Councils. There are a number of examples from both Canp Hayden and Camp Ranachqua which were issued by other Councils. Camp Ranachqua’s 2010 Arrowhead was harkens back to the early Ranachqua Lodge arrowheads albeit* without the Arrow and with a different color combination. I missed picturing this one last year, It is the 2007 Polar Bear Award from Camp Ranachqua.
This is the second of two issues from Camp Ranachqua for 2008. AS has been the pattern for the last several years, there is a patch issued for those brave enough to try the waters of Lake Nianque on those cool Catskill mornings. While issued in 2008, the patch is undated.
